Port Brewing Company - High Tide Fresh Hop IPA I’ll start by saying that I love, LOVE, fresh hopped beers. These are also known as wet hopped beers, they use the fresh hops that come at the beginning of the harvest season and are not dried. The result is something beautiful. I’d never had a beer from Port Brewing, but it was fantastic. Great taste, great smell. The taste had great citrus notes like an IPA should and reminded me grapefruit and the fresh hops gave off awesome tastes of pine. Loved it, will look for more.
